Subject: 20854/Agmt/CoClerk/License(Sticker)Fees Date: Fri, 28 Jun 1991 14:23:00 -0500 RESOLUTION NO. 20854 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AND THE HAMILTON COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE AND COLLECTION OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE FEE, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE "$5.00 STICKER." WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) A7 7-51-703 permits such an agreement between a municipality and the County Clerk; and WHEREAS, the Sticker requirements are embodied in Chattanooga City Code, Section 24-391, et seq.; and WHEREAS, the County Clerk has agreed to issue said Stickers as stipulated in the Agreement with the City, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized an Agreement between the City of Chattanooga and the Hamilton County Clerk which authorizes the County Clerk to issue City Stickers in accordance with the Agreement referred to hereinabove.
